Trip Overview

This trip Starts in Berkshire and over the 2 Days we will travel through Berkshire, Wiltshire into Dorset finishing near Swanage. Some of the lanes on this tour are tight with overgrown hedgerows. We will drive along a various sections of the Ridgeway trail, past Stone Avebury, the stone circle Village.

The trails we drive will be some of the "not so" popular trails. Over the weekend there may be some technical sections depending on the weather and also we will be crossing fords along with a trail overlooking Lulworth cover.

Vehicle Requirements

Although we have had beginners on this trip please we advise you to be completely happy with your vehicle and its controls.

This trip is open to any well maintained 4x4 vehicle although vehicles with more ground clearance will have an advantage. Some low slung vehicles and vehicles without a low range may struggle on some Sections.

It is also advisable that all vehicles have a full sized spare wheel onboard,

Please be aware some trails will be scratchy.

Important

We recommend a minimium of All terrain tires are a minimum for this trip.

Please ensure that you always have sufficient fuel for your vehicle for the whole day although we will be stopping at a fuel station towards the end of each day.

You will need all your food for the weekend there is not many shops and if we stop it will only be the garage or small vilage type shop.

we recommend your tent is a small quick pack up tent due to space and ease of packing in the morning so as not to keep others waiting.
